The College of Business and Aviation at Delta State University offers a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Nonprofit Management. The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Nonprofit Management offers a unique specialization for business professionals. It includes 6 courses (4 in the spring, 2 in the summer) that were designed to provide nonprofit practitioners with the skills needed to run the business side of a nonprofit organization. The program is fully online and can be completed in as little as 7-months.
The Certificate can be pursued with or without a Master’s Degree. Students can earn the certificate independently or alongside the Nonprofit Management concentration, within the online Integrated MBA program (only 2 courses are needed for the certificate). Students who pursue the certificate only are considered non-degree seeking students.

Scholarships
At Delta State University, we understand the importance of affordable education. While we currently do not offer scholarships or funding specifically for the Nonprofit Management Certificate, we do offer an affordable tuition rate with no additional fees for out-of-state students. Students who pursue the certificate must also pursue a degree such as the MBA in order to be eligible for financial aid. We are committed to providing our students with all of the tools necessary to succeed in business within multiple industries, including access to affordable education and financial support.
Program Goals
Nonprofit practitioners are tasked with a wide variety of job duties including recruiting and managing teams of paid employees and unpaid volunteers, interacting with board members, developing programs that serve the needs of their clients, develop relationships with donors to raise funds and apply for grants, and adhere to strict federal guidelines. Our program is designed to prepare practitioners with the tools necessary to meet these demands.
Admission Requirements
Students are required to have a baccalaureate degree (in any subject) from an accredited university.
